| A new Code of Conduct for members of Parish Councils has been produced by the Standards Board for England. |
| Parish Councils will have until 1st October 2007 to adopt the revised code. After that time, members of councils that have not adopted a revised code will be automatically covered by it. The existing code will continue in force until such time as the new one is adopted or until 1st October, whichever is sooner. |
