1. HORSESHOE FARM AMENDED
PLANNING APPLICATION Mr.Craig Wilshaw, Planning Officer from Cheshire
East Council, attended the meeting to discuss the above Amended
Planning Application and outlined the background to this plan.
The following points were discussed.
- An Enforcement Notice still
stands on some of the site.
- The application is not an increase
of pitches.
- There are 2 transit pitches
and 3 residential pitches.
- There will be no increase in
the size of the site.
- The ménage is out of
the plan.
- Washing facilities etc have
been added
- The planning application will
be discussed at a meeting of Strategic Planning Board on 16th
February 2011.
- Some legal advice has been taken
in case of a possible appeal.
- There is an "in principle"
consent for use of the land.
- If the current plan is approved
it will supersede the conditions.
- It has use of the site for gypsy
caravans.
- All conditions for the site
will be set out in the report to the Strategic Board with regard
to the current application.
- The amount of pitches is important.
- The Inspectorate says the site
is illegal as quoted by a resident.
- The site could end up as a small
industrial park in the future.
- Residents say there is hardcore
and a digger already on the site.
- A site visit will be arranged
by the Committee.
- Mr.Wilshaw agreed to make another
site visit.
- The report to Committee will
be available on the 11th February 2011.
- Mr.Scragg thanked Mr.Wilshaw
for coming to the meeting which has never happened in the past.
- Following Mr.Wilshaw's departure,
there were comments from the residents and it was agreed to arrange
a meeting for 9th February 2011 at 6.15pm to discuss this further
and Mr.Roger Fowler will be asked to attend by residents.
2. THIMSWORRA FARM Mr.Alan Arrowsmith attended
the meeting to answer any questions regarding the current retrospective
planning application.
It was agreed to request Councillor
John Wray to call in this application because of its unusual
circumstances and be taken to the full Planning Committee.
3. MINUTES OF MEETING HELD
3rd DECEMBER 2010 The
above Minutes, which had been circulated, were approved and signed.
4. PLANNING Apart from Horseshoe Farm and Thimswarra
Farm, there was a planning application for a small extension
at the Croft and this Council will write to the Borough Council
and say they have no comment to make.
5. ACCOUNTS There were no accounts for payment.
6. ANY OTHER BUSINESS Mrs.Rowson
will attend a meeting at the Borough Council on Thursday to finalise
details regarding Moston Parish Council street lights.
A letter to be sent to United
Utilities Plc asking them to reinstate the grass verges in the
area of there current work, particularly Tetton Lane since the
verges will not recover unless they are reconstructed and reseeded.
