1. GYPSY CARAVAN SITE HORSHOE FARM

Although this meeting was called as a normal Parish Council meeting, because of the strength of feeling amongst Moston and Warmingham residents, regarding this Planning application, the rest of the Agenda was disregarded and the Parish Council discussed the application in depth.

Councillor Goodall addressed the meeting outlining the reasons behind the Borough Council's decision to recommend approval.

Councillor Goodall answered many questions from the members of the public present.

The following was agreed:

• That a signed petition be forwarded to Councillor Goodall for him to submit to the Planning Committee on Tuesday 13th November 2000.
  
• That the following items be appended to the petition:-

  a) The application should be deferred to allow the community to be properly consulted b) That the Planning Committee take into account that this is a viable piece of land for agriculture which, if approved will set a precedent c) That the Planning Committee note that there are other vacant sites in the Borough d) That the Planning Committee note that the ecology of the site has not been explored

A further meeting of the Parish Council will be called for early December 2007.
