1. APPOINTMENT OF CHAIRMAN AND VICE CHAIRMAN.
The Clerk reported that nominations had been received as follows:-

Mr.Gerrish nominated Mrs Rowson as Chairman for the next two years.
Mrs.Rowson nominated Mr.Gerrish as Vice Chairman for the next two years.

Both the above nominations were seconded by Mr.Sant and Mrs.Beech.

2. MINUTES OF LAST MEETING.
The minutes, which had been circulated, were agreed as a correct record, with the exception that Mrs.Proud be deleted from Apologies.

3. MATTERS ARISING.

AGREED:
That the Clerk send a copy of the Street Lights in Moston to all who requested one.

4. ACCOUNTS.
The following accounts were retrospectively agreed:-
Lyreco (replacement cartridge for photocopier) £48.45 (VAT £7.22)
Phone rental 2 quarters £74.96

The following accounts were agreed:-
Petty Cash £50.00
Insurance for 2008/09 (Norwich Union) £462.74

5. ANY OTHER BUSINESS.

AGREED:
a) That the Clerk remove Councillor Scragg from her email list and revert to paper copy.

b) That a letter be sent to James Wood, Cheshire County Council regarding a lack of fingerpost signs and direction signs in Moston. These are West of Dragon's Lane, Woodville Farm near to Sparrowgrove.

c) That a letter be sent to James Wood, Cheshire County Council reporting that Clay Lane dips dangerously and asking if anything can be done to alleviate this.

d) Councillor Ken Oliver reported that from 1st April 2009 the following Councillors had been elected. However he would continue until then.
